Take the Guesswork Out of Your DIY Flooring Project!
Planning a new vinyl plank or laminate floor? The hardest part isn't always the installation—it's the math. Buy too little material, and your project comes to a screeching halt while you wait for a new shipment. Buy too much, and you're wasting your hard-earned money.
I built the DIY Flooring Project Planner & Estimator to do the heavy lifting for you. Whether you are tackling a single bedroom or an entire house, this "Done-With-You" digital calculator ensures you order exactly what you need and have the right tools ready to go on day one.
What’s Inside:
✅ Automated Material Estimator: Stop doing complex math. Just type in your room dimensions and your carton size. The spreadsheet automatically calculates your total square footage, adds the recommended 8% waste factor, and tells you exactly how many boxes to order.
✅ Transitions & Underlayment Calculator: Don't get stuck without the right finishing pieces! A dedicated calculator that figures out exactly how many rolls of underlayment, T-moldings, reducers, and stair parts you need based on your specific doorways and steps.
✅ The Ultimate Pro Tool Checklist: A comprehensive list of over 20 specific tools and materials you need for a flawless install (including the Layout Buddy, knee pads, construction adhesive, and more). It features interactive "Own" and "Need to Buy" checkboxes, plus direct links to my personal recommended gear. Pro tip: You can even print this tab out and bring it with you to the Home Improvement store!
