I took Joe’s advice to run the planks through doors and cased openings and NOT use transitions except for where LVP abuts other materials. That makes the installation look much better. We also bought most of the tools Joe recommends, including a cutting tool made just for LVP. This was a big time saver and helped keep the quality up.

It took me 6 weeks while working from home and living in the space. I still have to paint touchup the baseboards where nailed. I also plan to paint the stair banister as that wood color doesn’t match at all. I installed the entire ground level with no transitions.
